Today I am going to share one of my super easy and healthy recipes: guacamole. Guacamole is made primarily from avocados. Avocados are a healthy fat source as they contain 20 different vitamins and minerals, they can lower bad cholesterol, contain zero sodium, and are low in saturated fat. This fruit is an amazing choice to help make up your fat macros for the day!

Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado
2 tbsp salsa
1 chopped jalapeno
1 tsp minced garlic
dash sea salt
few squeezes of fresh lime
Directions:
Cut and scoop out the ripe avocado
Mash with a fork
Mix in the remaining ingredients
Store in fridge until ready to use

Tips:
Use for: dipping, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, salads, sandwiches, or whatever you desire
For best results, let it sit in the refrigerator for ~4 hours to allow all of the flavours to mix
Use additional avocados and multiply the recipe to make for a healthy party dish
If you are not picky like me, feel free to add onions, tomatoes, or cumin
To prevent from browning, place the avocado pit in the container with the guacamole until you’re ready to use it
You must use ripe avocados, so try to get them in advance if you know you want to make this guacamole
Avocados aren’t ripe? Place them in a paper bag at room temperature
Once you make this, I promise you will not go back to store bought guac!
I hope you guys enjoyed this recipe and get a chance to try it out! Let me know below your favourite way to eat guac?!
